April distracted driving blitz!

Put your phones down, buckle your seat belts, and pay attention to the road.  April is distracted driver month in the City of Madison.  The Madison Police Department will be increasing traffic patrols and cracking down on distracted drivers from April 1st to April 30th.  The primary focus will be on drivers using cell phones and a secondary focus will be on drivers not using seat belts or having their children not properly restrained in a vehicle.  There will be zero tolerance for noncompliant individuals using mobile devices and not being properly restrained in a vehicle.
